UncertainFM welcomes Fenway Park organist Josh Kantor to 'Uncertain Times'
Kantor joins TJ Connelly as a special guest on Wednesday, November 17
UncertainFM Programming Alert: Fenway Park organist Josh Kantor will be a guest host on Uncertain Times this Wednesday, November 17, live on uncertain.fm from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EST (with a repeat presentation from 2 to 6 p.m.).
Kantor and UncertainFM founder and midday host TJ Connelly previously worked together for many years providing the music soundtrack to home Red Sox games, with Kantor as in-game organist and Connelly as the stadium DJ. After leaving the Red Sox last year to launch UncertainFM, Connelly is excited to welcome Kantor to the online streaming radio station for a live presentation of Uncertain Times #411.
"We've been trying to put this together for a while now -- I've been a guest on his regular weekly program, '7th-Inning Stretch', and I'm delighted to finally host him on UncertainFM," says Connelly. "Josh has curated a special setlist for the show, 'Before They Were Hits,' and we're going to hang out, listen to records, and talk about music all day. If we were just doing this for fun it'd be a blast, and I'm overjoyed we'll get to share it with the folks listening to UncertainFM on Wednesday."
On Twitter, Kantor describes the "Before They Were Hits" theme as "unpopular original recordings later made popular by someone else's version."
